A dry pedicure, done the same way as the manicure: cuticles and hard skin are worked with an e-file instead of soaking and scraping, then gel colour that lasts a month or more on toes.

Full pedicure or mini
- The full pedicure covers nails, cuticles, heels and hard skin, with or without gel colour.
- The mini pedicure is nails and cuticles only: the right choice between full pedicures or when the feet are already in good shape.
- Gel polish only is for toes that were done recently and just need new colour.

- Cuticle work and shaping of all ten nails.

Good to know
- Gel on toes usually lasts longer than on hands. Four to six weeks is normal.
- Open shoes or sandals are easiest right after the appointment, though gel is fully dry when the appointment ends.
- A manicure and pedicure can be booked back to back. Plan about three hours.
Questions people ask
How are the tools cleaned?
Metal tools and e-file bits are cleaned, disinfected and sterilized after every client. Files and buffers that cannot be sterilized are not reused between clients. The studio is a private room, so nothing is shared with other technicians.
How long does the gel last?
Most clients come back every three to four weeks and the set still looks fine when they do. Toes last longer, often four to six weeks. Gel extensions are filled every three to four weeks rather than removed.
How long is an appointment?
A gel polish manicure takes an hour and a half. A classic manicure without colour is 45 minutes. A full set of gel extensions takes about two and a half hours, a fill about two. A gel polish pedicure is an hour and a half, a mini pedicure an hour. French, chrome and ombre add about 15 minutes.
